Rex's last truck payment was yesterday. Such a freaking relief!

And then last night the windows started fogging up while I was driving, accompanied by a funny sweet smell. The heater core. Fantastic! It was 40 degrees this morning, and no heat. He won't have a day off until sometime toward the end of next week, so until then I'll be wrapping the kids in blankets. It sucks, I'm not even going to pretend to see a bright side.
